net NO MERCHANDISE will be available for sale at
the trial. All items MUST be pre-paid.
Note
on Larger Rigs
●
There will be one
area for trucks/trailers/
rigs and another for cars. Actually, there is plenty of room for
cars, it is the 5th wheel rigs that require pre-planning.
We're going to try to plan so that chain gangs can be located
within your camp.
●
There is a bridge with less than 12 foot clearance on Fairfield/Levee
Road which has taken out A/C units on the tops of motorhomes.
If you are driving a motorhome, or pulling a 5th wheel, please use alternate route! Signs will be placed at the FT grounds entrance.
Gallery
Wagon
Chairman Mark Smith has lined up use of a tractor and trailer with
bleacher seats to use as a gallery wagon. He also has a source for
timothy grass hay or alfalfa hay, so you don't have to haul hay
for your horses if you order bales ahead of time. remark@centurytel.
net
This
is the first VCA event where the DNA profile number will be required for entry. Any entries arriving without this information entered on the form will be returned.
Areas
of Interest (from
the Secretary)
The central area of Wisconsin is rich in both historic and natural landmarks. Located
on the edge of Wisconsin’s “driftless region”, traveling an hour in any direction
from the field trial grounds will offer very different terrain.
From the hiking trails at Devil’s Lake State Park, observation areas at both the
International Crane Foundation and Horicon Marsh, to the guided tours at the Circus
World Museum, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin, House on the Rock, Wisconsin
Dells, and Cave of the Mounds, there is sure to be something for everyone.
Complete information about all of the sights can be picked up at any rest area
between Madison and Black River Falls or by visiting one of these websites:
